I wanted a bracket for my Canon DLSR that I could hang from the roof or something high. I did the usual and Googled camera brackets but was unable to find anything. This is how many of my projects are born. My plan was to knock something up fairly quickly without being too fussy about it. Pride got the better of me and I decided I would be unable to live with anything poorly made. This project was the inspiration for the metal bender. So after finishing the bender I swung into action and made the bracket. The M6 knobs were sourced on Ebay for about $1.00 each and arrived from China roughly 3 weeks after completing the project. I also polished it to a mirror finish a couple of months after making it.
